Ms. Majeed is the founder and curriculum director for Self Development Charter School (SDCS)
and Self Development Preschool (SDP). She also serves as principal of SDCS. Ms. Majeed has two masters’ degrees, one in education administration. She is currently working toward her Doctorate degree in educational leadership. Ms. Majeed is the driving force behind the high standards espoused by the school and its staff. She is cognizant of individual students’ strengths, needs, and learning styles and makes every effort to support the staff and faculty in helping students to succeed and become lifelong learners. She also encourages her staff to grow professionally and enhance the “intellectual capital’ of this learning environment. She greets students every day by giving them “high fives.” Often you can find her in the classrooms teaching or complimenting students and teachers for the wonderful job they are doing.
